Great place, secluded, no distractions from the outside world, and close to great hiking.

It was more then expected. Lovely,  quiet, very scenic. The owners out did themselves.  They thought of everything to make their guest feel at home. Beds were very comfortable, great kitchen, well stocked with dishes, pots pans, laundry room, hot tub, nice fire pit with benches, great Deck with chairs .Too much to mention. The six of us are planning to go back next year. The only thing I would like is better lighting in upstairs bath in the room with the three trundle bed. Not makeup application friendly, for those of us that need some😁 Great Great place.

We loved our stay. It was clean. Spacious. There was laundry detergent and items to make the stay comfortable. Nice jacuzzi. Gazebo. Firepit. Liked the deck and pond. Beautiful outdoor area. I will say make sure you go during daylight hours. It was getting dark and foggy and we drove back and forth for 20 mins trying to find where it was at. It was fairly secluded, at least when I was there last. Cute  dollar hiding game and guest book.

Very pleased. Everything we need is available. This is our first visit. We are planning our family vacation for next year and returning next year.

Our family enjoyed a lovely weekend in this gorgeous house! The kitchen was spacious with newer appliances-we did not want for any type of dish, glass or utensil! There was a grill, hot tub, and fire ring that the teenagers loved! The bedding was so comfortable and the place was immaculate! My family enjoys watching sports and the TVs/reception were very nice! Also, there were lots of games and options for indoor fun. Our host answered all of my questions promptly and thoroughly. With all this property offers, it is a very good value.

The pics of this place dont do it justice. Its absolutely gorgeous and peaceful. Well stocked kitchen and play area for the kids. My only complaint is we had problems with one of the showers randomly not getting hot water and the fishing is sub par. However neither of those are big deals and the rest if the house made of for it. We are going again this year!

We stayed at the Gingerbread Haus for 3 wonderful days. The best parts for me were the serene morning walks and the Jacuzzi overlooking a small field making for a splendid setting to view the sunset. Overall, if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city, this is DEFINITELY the place for you.

I've been coming to the Gingerbread Haus for over two years and it is spectacular! The house is super cozy while still being large and clean. The hot tub and fire ring are great added bonuses to the already great house. I never regret staying here!

If your looking for that perfect , and I mean the perfect place to go without any worries , a world all your own, this place takes you there! Also pizza fits right in, the locals are very friendly if you need directions to local attractions. My family wants to go back!

I've been coming here twice a year (during the summer and winter seasons) since 2010. I always have a wonderful, warm, and cozy stay. The cabin is great for small groups and families. Take advantage of the fire pit, hot tub, cable TV, video games, and an eclectic collection of books. I wouldn't stay anywhere else!

A superb location, completely away from the hustle of the city and perfect to spend a vacation. I spent my Spring break there this week and it was a wonderful experience. The rooms are very spacious with great views and the pond beside the house makes it even more scenic.  There's space to make an evening fire, where we prepared smores ! The jacuzzi, however, is the best part of your experience at this place !

We stayed at the Gingerbread Haus for a vacation with friends.  The house was cozy and comfortable, in the middle of the beautiful hocking hills and within driving distance of several outings like the Old Man's Cave and river rafting.  There was even a hot tub!  I definitely plan on going again.

I brought a group with me who have never been to hocking hills before and they absolutely loved it. The house was spacious, homey, and fully stocked. There was plenty of extra sheets and towels for people who forgot them, and it was such a short trip to all of the hikes and trails. It was an absolute blast staying here, and I most definitely will be coming back sometime soon.

Just spent my spring break there! It was awesome. It's well furnished with all the items you need for a priceless stay. Loved it. Did I tell you there's a jacuzzi!

Anyone rating this place with 1 or 2 stars clearly hasn't stayed here. My family has been coming to the Hocking Hills area for years. This is my favorite hideaway. There have been some bumps in the road during our stay but the caretakers and owner have always been on point with remedying the issues. The house is gorgeous like it just walked out of a storybook with all of it's character. Cannot wait to return. Our family has so many wonderful memories tied to this beautiful relaxing place.

My husband and I, along with my adult kids, son-in-law and grandbaby, enjoyed every moment at the Gingerbread Haus (aka Pipp's house). Attention to detail made our stay there amazing. I won't go into tons of details in this review, but know that there is no cell service and the internet is shotty, but they have a landline and to be honest, the rest- you just do not miss! Gorgeous house, set off the road, in a beautiful country setting. Amenities provided. Mama Renie's pizza is good stuff. McArthur dairy stand is so nice on a hot, summer day. The deck to fish off of. The hot tub. The fire pit. Local lakes and caves... I don't wanna talk this place up too much, or they will be booked solid and I won't be able to get booked back in.
